Event Planner Assistant
Plan Your Memories Inc is an event design and production company founded in 2003. We are seeking intern event planners to execute weddings, social events, meetings and fundraisers. This position will report directly to the President and assist with various aspects of each event.

Major responsibilities include:
event production, event day assistance, design assistance, filing, vendor bookings and management, vendor follow up calls, product promotion, email marketing management and client follow up calls. The candidate for this position must be able to meet deadlines, be attentive to email and phone requests directed by President, have excellent communication skills and organizational skills. This position requires two weekend shifts of either a Saturday or Sunday from 10am-1pm, with additional hours months with booked events.

Requirements:
1-2 Years event industry experience, Associate/Bachelor Degree, proficient in Microsoft Office Word, Microsoft Office Excel, Microsoft Office PowerPoint, Microsoft Office Outlook, Internet, Marketing a plus and must have a reliable source of transportation and mobile device. 
Recommendation letters will be provided for all volunteers to use toward their continued education. This position is not for event based assistance only.
